According to Mr Zsolt Bécsey National Economy Ministry state secretary Ukraine's Vorskla Steel is expected to start building a plant worth hundreds of millions of euros in the Fenyeslitke industrial park next year.

He said that in the negotiations phase, there was talk of several hundred jobs, but some thousand workplaces are expected to be created later.

Mr Bécsey said Kraz Logistics wants to build a GBP 100 million base in the park. Both the Kraz Logistics and Vorskla Steel investments are worth GBP 400 million to GBP 500 million.

Ukraine Vorskla Steel said earlier it would build a GBP 700 million plant employing 1,000 workers in the park.

The Fényeslitke industrial park was completed at a cost of HUF 3.5 billion in 2010.
