Vyksa Steel Works in late April 2011 certified manufacture of railway wheels for passenger cars to meet the requirements of safety standards at the federal railways. Certificates issued a Certificate Register of the Federal Railway.

VSW has received two certificates: the mounting series of wheels made of steel grade A on the requirements of TU 0943-202-01124323-2005 the wheels rolled high quality passenger cars and mounting a series of wheels made of steel grade 1 GOST 10791-2004 wheels rolled.

Received certificates confirm the high degree of quality and reliability of products VSW Wheel. The main consumer of railway wheels production VSW is JSC Russian Railways. In January 2011, OMK and Railways signed a new long term contract under which over 5 years, VSW will produce and deliver to the customer more than 3.2 million railroad wheels.
