Reuters reported that Ukraine's industrial safety watchdog has suspended coal production at a mine belonging to the country's biggest steel mill ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih.

The company declined to comment on the consequences of the suspension for its steel production.

Ukrainian media said that a possible destruction of a road which ran above the mine's working zone was the reason for the watchdog's decision.
