Metal Biz reported that Jinchuan Group, in the recent days takes place in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the company.

At present, Jinchuan's nickel output ranks number 4 all over the world, cobalt yield rating number 2 throughout the world, and the international status and the competitiveness significantly pick up.

In 50 years, the company produced accumulatively nickel for 1.374 million tonnes, copper for 1.901 million tonnes, cobalt for 42,000 tonnes, platinum for 26.3 tonnes and the accumulative business revenue was CNY 274.5 billion, the profit and tax totaled CNY 47.7 billion, being 11 times of the country's investment.

In 2007, the company's business revenue broke though CNY 50 billion. In 2008, the total of nonferrous metal exceeded 400,000 tonnes, the assets closed to CNY 40 billion and the business revenue was CNY 55.1 billion, ranking number 65 in the China top 500 enterprises issued by State Statistical Bureau.
