It is reported that AK Steel has announced the policy of stainless alloy surcharge for November 2011 deliveries.

After the adjustment, the latest stainless alloy surcharge for 304 series products is at USD 0.9111 per pound, for November shipments, decreased by 12% from USD 1.0356 per pound for October; that for 201 series products is at USD 0.6152 per pound, dropped by 9.8% from USD 0.6823 per pound from a month earlier and that for 316 series materials is at USD 1.3035 per pound, dipped by 11.5% from USD 1.4728 per pound for October.

In addition, the company decided to cut the stainless alloy surcharge for 430 series products to USD 0.2865 per pound for November deliveries from USD 0.2974 per pound for October 2011.
