International technology Group ANDRITZ has received orders with a total value of about EUR 50 million from two stainless steel producers in China.

For Tianjin TISCO & TPCO Stainless Steel Co Ltd the ANDRITZ METALS business area will supply an annealing and pickling line for cold-rolled stainless steel strip. Start-up is planned for the third quarter of 2011.

From Jiuquan Iron & Steel Group Co Ltd ANDRITZ has received the order for delivery of a tension leveling line and an offline skin pass mill for cold rolled stainless steel strip. Start up of the plants, which have an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes, is planned for the fourth quarter of 2011.

Both stainless steel producers have been customers of ANDRITZ METALS for many years and are successfully operating many systems supplied by ANDRITZ.
