Australian Stainless Steel Development Association has encouraged its members to undertake an online tool which will analyze their workforce needs.

According to the association, members will be able to understand the future of the stainless steel industry workforce. The starter tool was developed by the National Industry Skills Committee. It is said to identify the potential risks companies need to consider in order to attain their desired future workforce.

The free online tool comprises of a series of dynamic and interactive questions regarding the organization’s current and future workforce wish list. The data is then compiled into a customized report.

The report demonstrates current and future risks for the company, and provides good practice studies on how the metal working business could address these risks.

ASSDA said that it would also be interested in hearing from members regarding some of the key findings from their reports.
