It is reported that Australian Stainless Steel Development Association is holding a technical information night on stainless steels for the food industry on May 26th 2009.
The seminar will provide a general overview of the issues involved, as well as the specifics of purge welding for pipe and tube, post fabrication cleaning, etc.
According to the ASSDA, while stainless steel is widely used in the food processing industries, its strengths and limitations must be understood for best results.
The information night, to be held at the Engineers Australia Auditorium in Melbourne, will explore the design, fabrication and operational steps of the process through the ASSDA’s Food Specification.
