Baosteel Stainless, the second largest stainless producer in China, has continued to expand its production capacity of ferritic stainless steel, aiming to meet market demand.

In August 2012, the company's output of ultra pure ferritic stainless steel slab reached 11,700 tonnes, helping to strengthen its position.

It is known that the ultra pure ferritic stainless steel has been widely used in electric appliances, car exhaust gas system and elevator sectors.
