Bligh Resources Limited has been informed by the drilling contractor that is undertaking the planned 3,000 meter air core exploration drilling program at the Kumarina Project in Western Australia, that due to current weather conditions in northern and central Western Australia, it cannot gain access to the drill site next week.
Bligh's maiden drilling program was scheduled to commence next weekend but will now be temporarily delayed until weather conditions in the Pilbara region become more stable. Bligh has been in contact with its drilling contractor and work is scheduled to commence at the first available opportunity. The attached maps illustrate the location of Bligh's tenement area.
Bligh's drilling program will initially explore areas prospective for manganese ore, and the technical team is currently assessing new areas within the Kumarina prospect that may be prospective for copper.
The company will update shareholders as soon as possible on the revised commencement date for drilling at Kumarina.
