Brazilian manganese ores exports in November up by 2pct MoM

TEX reported that Brazil has exported 126,006 tonnes in total of manganese ores in November 2010, up by 2.1% MoM as compared with that of 123,394 tonnes in October 2010 and supposedly turned to leave from the decreased exports continued successively for the last 3 months.

According to the statistics released in Brazil, the quantities of manganese ores exported by Brazil in November 2010 were medium and high grade ore (with Mn 39% minimum): 314 tonnes (increased by 3.9 times from that in October) and others (low grade ore): 125,692 tonnes (increased by 1.9% from that in October).

Brazil exported 314 tonnes of medium and high grade manganese ore in November, which consisted of 270 tonnes for China and 44 tonnes for Poland but were still unable to go away from the low levels in comparison with the high ones continued by August 2010.

Also, Brazil exported 125,692 tonnes of others (low grade ore) in November 2010, which consisted mainly of 111,165 tonnes for China as compared to 2,500 tonnes in October and 13,829 tonnes for Argentina. Brazil had no export of manganese ore for France and Norway in November. The total quantity of manganese ores exported from Brazil to China is enlarging further a ratio of Chinese share.
