Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC has announced the opening of the ENRC Cardiac Day Care Unit within Great Ormond Street Hospital's new Morgan Stanley Clinical Building. A material donation from ENRC contributed towards the costs of the new Cardiac Day Care Unit.
ENRC is committed to supporting the many communities in which it operates, with a particular emphasis on education and health. In recent years, ENRC's annual Community Social Investment commitment has exceeded USD 50 million.
In addition to funding the new ENRC Cardiac Day Care Unit, the company has committed to a five year scholarship program at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The program will allow up to ten junior doctors from Kazakhstan to enhance their knowledge of a pediatric speciality at one of the world's leading children's hospitals.

Great Ormond Street Hospital's Morgan Stanley Clinical Building, the first part of the Mittal Children's Medical Centre was officially opened today by Lord Coe, LOCOG Chair and Olympic gold medalist, in a ceremony in front of an audience of patients, Olympic medalists and significant donors.
Great Ormond Street Hospital specializes in rare, complex and life threatening conditions in children and is recognized as one of the world's leading children's hospitals. The new facility is an important element of the hospital's major redevelopment plan to ensure patients receive world-class care in 21st century facilities and which will enable the hospital to treat up to 20% more children and advance pioneering translational research programs.
