
Eramet, the French based producer of alloying metals, particularly Mn and Ni used to improve the properties of high performance special steels, reports increases in all divisions in the first quarter of 2011.
The company's consolidated turnover rose 23% to EUR 973 million of which EUR 237 million was contributed by the Alloys Division, an increase of 30% compared with the same quarter in 2010.
The Alloys Division includes the production of the ASP range of PM alloys produced by gas atomization and HIPing used in tooling, aerospace and specialty steel. Eramet employs around 14,000 people in 20 countries.
