First Nickel Inc has announced that ratification of a 3 year Collective Agreement with the Sudbury Mine, Mill & Smelter Workers Union Local 598, which represents its Production and Maintenance employees, was reached on July 29th 2010.

The Collective Agreement was ratified with 95.6% of the membership voting in favor of the agreement.

First Nickel Inc has successfully negotiated three year Collective Agreements with both of its unionized groups in 2010 being the United Steelworkers Local 2020 which represents the Office Clerical and Technical employees and the Sudbury Mine Mill & Smelter Workers Union Local 598 which represents the Production and Maintenance employees.
