It is reported that construction has started for a 400,000 tonnes per annum stainless steel slab casting project by Hennan Qingshan Jinhui Stainless Steel Company on June 10th 2008.

Henan Qingshan Jinhui Company was established in June 2005. The stainless steel processing project is planned to be invested by CNY 1 billion fixed investment. It is divided into three phases, the first and second phase had been completed, at present, it is the third phase.

As per reports, the investment of the third phase is about CNY 110 million, it is expected to be completed be the early of next year and then to produce stainless steel, carbon steel, pipeline steel three varieties slab with an annual output of 400,000 tonnes.

At that time, the stainless slab production capacity of Qingshan Jinhui Company will reach 1 million tonnes will further confirm its leading position in Henan stainless steel industry.
