Currently at Fangcheng, Qinzhou and Beihai Ports, Australian Mn49% lump is mainly priced at CNY 46.5 to CNY 47 per tonne unit (FOT, 17% VAT included), Australian Mn44% lump is CNY 42 to CNY 425.5 per tonne unit (FOT, 17% VAT included), Australian Mn49% grain sized ore is CNY 42.5 to CNY 43 per tonne unit (FOT, 17% VAT included), South African Mn35%Fe6% lump is CNY 39 per tonne unit (FOT, 17% VAT included), Brazilian Mn45% lump is CNY 40-41 per tonne unit ( FOT, 17% VAT included), down by CNY 0.5 to CNY 1 per tonne unit than last weekend.

Recently, due to the weak demand, manganese ore quotation at the ports showed a slight downturn after a period of stability. The move is considered reasonable by ferroalloy plants. Although the offshore offer remained stable, the gloomy imported manganese ore market at Chinese ports got aggravated by the sustained electricity supply restriction in South China.

In order to secure the shipments, low priced transactions at ports increased recently. Currently, transaction volume of Australian manganese lump and grain sized ore, and South African manganese lump performed better.
