PTI reported that stainless steel manufacturer JSL Limited has reported a net profit of INR 62.75 crore for the second quarter ended September 30th 2009. It had a net loss of INR 68.64 crore in the September quarter last fiscal.

Total income of the company increased to INR 1,330.02 crore in the quarter under review from INR 1,094.90 crore during the same period previous year.

For the 6 month period ended September 30th 2009, JSL posted a net profit of INR 157.51 crore whereas it incurred a net loss of INR 40.21 crore in the half yearly period previous year. Total income rose to INR 2,677.32 crore in the 6 month period under review from INR 2,650.27 crore during the same period last fiscal.
