Japanese August stainless steel scrap exports hit 7500 tonnes

It is reported that Japan's exports of stainless steel scrap totaled 7,493 tonnes in August.
Shipments to South Korea, the country's top export destination in August, reached 6,684 tonnes. The exports to China were 660 tonnes.
During the first 8 months of 2011, Japan's total exports of stainless steel scrap hit 77,665 tonnes. Among them, 60,287 tonnes were exported to South Korea, 10,791 tonnes were to China and 4,286 tonnes were to Taiwan.
