It is reported that Japanese stainless steel output in September totaled 250,630 tonnes, dropped by 154 tonnes than 250784 tonnes in August and down by 8.7% YoY as against 274,429 tonnes in the same time of last year.

Stainless steel output in the month included 100,626 tonnes of chrome based stainless steel, 150,004 tonnes of nickel based stainless steel, 21,313 tonnes of nickel chrome molybdenum products and 7,416 tonnes of other special steel.
