Zhejiang Province based Chinese pipe producer Jiuli Stainless Steel Pipe Co announced that 85% of the plant construction at its large diameter thick walled stainless steel welded pipe project has been completed.

The stainless steel welded pipes to be produced will be used in oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas pipeline projects.

The project started in 2012 with a total investment of CNY 300 million.

During January to August 2012 period, CNY 79.95 million has been invested in the project.
