It is reported that Latrobe Specialty Steel Co's USD 52 million vacuum re melting expansion project, designed to allow the company to increase and expand its position in the global specialty metals market, has been completed.

First announced 14 months ago, the 60,000 square foot facility is located near the company's Latrobe headquarters. Nearly 100 jobs are projected to be created by the expansion project.
