According to Wall Street Journal reports, Australia based Mineral & Metals Group, a subsidiary of Minmetal & Resources Ltd is studying how to restart its suspended Avebury Ni mine located in Tasmania of Australia and it will also consider the acquisition and management plans presented by potential partners and buyers.

MMG says that it will complete the business assessment of Avebury very soon.

Rosebery from MMG and John Lamb, general manager of Avebury mine releases jointly on MMG website that MMG will disclose the result of the evaluation to potential partners and buyers and provide views on the feasibility of their plans and the requirements of running Avebury mine.

Rosebery also show that the whole work is expected to conclude in Q3 of this year and then MMG will make the decision on Avebury fate.
