PTI reported that an INR 52 crore cold rolling mill was inaugurated by Mr S Machendranathan additional secretary and financial adviser at Ministry of Steel.

Mr Pankaj Gautham executive director at Salem Steel plant told reporters that the rolling mill was supplied by ASPRIA, a leading equipment manufacturer in stainless processing units.

Mr Gautham said this machine had a capacity of 50,000 tonnes per annum with automation with good quality. By using this machine sheets and coils can be made.
