
Interfax reported that MMC Norilsk Nickel expects to post EBITDA of just over USD 3 billion in 2009 on condition that nickel, copper and PGM prices remain at current levels throughout the second half of the year.
Mr Vladimir Strzhalkovsky general director of Norilsk Nickel said that it targets revenue of UED 7.5 billion to USD 8 billion in 2009 and that EBITDA might amount to USD 1.8 billion to USD 2 billion.
Norilsk Nickel is the world's biggest nickel and palladium producer and a leading producer of copper, platinum and cobalt.
