Noront Resources Limited, at the request of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, retracts the estimated mine life and revenue projections for the Blackbird chromite deposit as disclosed in our Press Release of December 9th 2008, as these projections are not supported by an independent economic analysis.
