
It is reported that South Korean POSCO Specialty Steel planned to conduct massive routine repairs for modernization covering all its mills during the end of August 2011 to the beginning of September 2011.
This project will includes upgrading and replacing the existing 100 million tonnes capacity measure of electric furnace along with its refining and casting works plus wire rod production site.
The company expects to increase the capability of annual production volume to 250,000 tonnes through the modernization.
