
State owned gold and nickel miner Aneka Tambang's unaudited revenue rose by 18% YoY in 2011 on rising ferronickel production and sales. Revenue for Antam rose to IDR 10.3 trillion in 2011.
The miner said ferronickel production rose to 19,690 tonnes in 2011 from 18,688 tonnes in 2010. Last year's production exceeded the original target of 18,000 tonnes. In 2011, ferronickel sales increased by 7% to 19,527 tonnes.
Antam this week secured USD 650 million in loans from a syndicate of banks including Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Standard Chartered and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for the Buli plant.
