Bloomberg reported that Samancor Chrome Limited has restarted output from some furnaces that were suspended in 2008 because of weak demand.
Ms Sunel Pretorius spokeswoman of Samancor Chrome Limited said that "We have restarted some operations."
It may be noted that Samancor suspended all output in 2008.
