The Specialty Steel Industry of North America has announced the election of new officers effective January 1st 2012.

Mr Carl R Moulton SVP International at Allegheny Technologies Incorporated of Pittsburgh was elected chairman of the association's board of directors.

Mr Moulton is the former VC of the board. Mr Moulton began his career as a sales representative with Allegheny Ludlum in 1972. He succeeds former SSINA chairman Dr Sunil Widge SVP Strategic Business Development & Governmental Affairs Carpenter Technology Corporation.

Mr Dennis M Oates was elected VC. Mr Oates is chairman, president & CEO of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. Mr Oates has had a 37 year career to date in the steel industry.
