
It is reported that China's Sandeli Stainless Steel Group has successfully trial run of its 10 new lines for the production of titanium tubes and stainless steel welded pipes in its Jiangsu plant.
The company indicated the production run has produced 30 tonnes of titanium tubes as well as stainless steel welded pipes were produced during the first pilot runs stage. In fact, Sandeli Stainless Steel Group has already decided to expend its new project including 10 new lines for the production of titanium tubes and stainless steel welded pipes since October of 2011.
The total investment was around CNY 1 billion. Meanwhile, the company expected to produce 150,000 tonnes of stainless steel welded pipes and 20,000 tonnes of titanium tubes for nuclear power stations respectively.
