It is reported that Shandong Taishan Steel Group was listed in No.406 in top 500 enterprises in China and it is the first time for the company to enter top 500 enterprises list in China, reflecting that Taishan Steel’s competitiveness is increasing.

Taishan Steel puts 600,000 tonne special steel capacity to production and fills high grade stainless steel vacuum in province Shandong. Meanwhile, it could increase sales income by CNY 14 billion and total profit and tax of CNY1.4 billion. It is expected that sales income in the company may exceed CNY 20 billion in 2008.

As per reports, the national related departments, Chinese and foreign financial institutions and investment companies give close attention on the development of Taishan Iron and Steel Group. Taishan Steel Group will seize the current important strategic opportunity to realize the rapid development.
