MetalBiz reported that Shanxi stainless steel plate export reached 9,965 tonnes in August, up by 3.5% MoM, while it was 40,500 tonnes in the same period last year.

Shanxi exported 47,000 tonnes of stainless steel plate in the first 8 months of 2009, down by 81.9% YoY, valued USD 92.76 million, down by more than USD 1 billion as compared with USD 1.0983 billion, which made the export in Shanxi drop 14.7%.
