TISCO stated in late last week that the May production had broken the record, and the June output bettered the record, up 1.5% than May.

An official with Taiyuan Stainless Company noted that its stainless steel production goal of this year is 2.2 million tonnes. Its annual output is 3 million tonnes.

According to the previous report, due to the weak stainless steel in the domestic market, the decline in the exports volume and prices, Shanxi Taiyuan Stainless Steel Company expressed in early this month that its loss in January to June of this fiscal year was XNY 650 million to CNY 700 million.
