Bloomberg reported that Sinosteel Corporation plans to expand capacity at its ferrochrome plant in Zimbabwe by as much as 30%.

Mr Zhang Suwei MD at Sinosteel South Africa (Pty) Limited said that "We are planning to expand the ferrochrome capacity there by 50,000 to 60,000 tonnes, from the current 200,000 tonnes a year."
