According to statistics released by the Korea Iron & Steel Association, the dealer inventory of stainless steel totaled 73,188 tonnes in South Korean in September 2012, falling by 5.8% MoM and decreasing by 15.4% YoY.

Meanwhile, the country's cold rolled stainless steel production totaled 91,181 tonnes in September 2012, down by 1.5% MoM.

The stainless steel inventory owned by the manufacturers totaled 69,480 tonnes, decreasing by 3.5% MoM.
