According to statistics, the inventory of stainless steel products totaled 130,369 tonnes in Chinese Foshan market in the end of December, 2011, down by 4.64% in comparison of that in half month earlier.

Among them, 50,368 tonnes were cold rolled stainless steel products, decreasing by 7.01% and 80,001 tonnes were hot rolled stainless steel products, dropping by 3.08%.

For cold rolled stainless steel products, 13,547 tonnes were 200 grade materials, slumping by 45.33%; 24,402 tonnes were 300 grade products, surging by 17.73% and 12,419 tonnes were 400 grade products, soaring by 43.46%.

For hot rolled stainless steel products, 16,046 tonnes were 200 grade products, increasing by 36.37%; 60,102 tonnes were 300 grade products, decreasing by 10.12% and 3,853 tonnes were 400 grade products, down by 1.18%.
