It is reported that the market prices of stainless steel keep tumbling for five months in a row with slack nickel prices.

The Taiwanese stainless steel mills also decline their domestic prices by around TWD 1,000 to TWD 1,500 per tonne for July 2012.

Most steelmakers indicate the stainless steel price in the third quarter of 2012 would be dull by the low price dumping from China.

Additionally, the stainless steel price is strongly affected by dropping nickel price on LME, which has been down to USD 16150 per tonne on July 6th 2012. It is expected that the market would be standstill in next few months.
