Affected by the stainless steel mills' price cut, Yieh Hsing and Walsin Lihwa have cut the price for July 2012 accordingly.

They decided to reduce the stainless steel wire rod prices by TWD 1500 per tonne.

After the adjustment, the list prices of 304M grade stainless steel wire rods are at TWD 118.5 to 119.5 per kilogram and that of 302HQ grade is TWD 136.5 to TWD 137.5 per kilogram.

The Taiwanese stainless steel wire rod makers indicated that their received order volumes were not good so far.
