It is reported that Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group, the largest stainless steel producer in China, has targeted to produce 3.1 million tonnes of stainless steel products in 2012, up by 11% YoY.

Also, TISCO stated that its stainless steel production in 2011 totaled 3.02 million tonnes, surging by 11% YoY.

Earlier, the company had ever estimated that its stainless steel output in 2011 would be at 3.03 million tonnes and it targeted 3.3 million tonnes for 2012.

In 2012, TISCO will aim to produce 10.48 million tonnes of steel products, including carbon steel and stainless steel products.
