Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel has posted a net profit of CNY 838 million in the H1 of 2011, up by 3.5% YoY.

In the meanwhile, its sales revenue grew by 5.57% from a year earlier to CNY 45.84 billion and the steel production volume increased 0.35% to 4.99 million tonnes in the H1 of 2011 and its stainless steel production surged by 3.14% to 1.46 million tonnes.

However, the company expected that the growth rate of steel production volume will be lower in the latter half of this year due to the continuous high production cost.
