It is reported that Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel recently put a new seamless steel tube production unit into operation. The tubes can be used in power, petroleum, chemical, transportation and other related industries.

Taigang had previously invested CNY 2.16 billion in a steel tube project on March 2008 with annual production capacity of steel tube of 50,000 tonnes after completion. By November this year, the firm recorded production capacity of over 1,000 tonnes of steel tube.
