It is reported that Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless producer in China, has decided to cut the export prices of 300 grades stainless steel products by USD 100 per tonne for August 2012 shipments, in response to falling nickel prices and sluggish Asian steel market.
After the adjustment, its August 2012 export prices of 304 grades stainless cold rolled coil with 2B finish and 2mm thickness are at USD 2,700 per tonne; that for 304 grades stainless hot rolled coil is at USD 2,570 per tonne.

Besides, the firm will offer a discount of USD 100 per tonne for those who buy more than 1,000 tonnes.
