It is reported that the Taiwanese stainless steel market remained flat last week.

It's analyzed that most buyers have taken wait-and-see position due to decreased nickel prices at LME.

Last week, the nickel prices at LME went down all the way from USD 19,000 per tonne to USD 17,700 per tonne with a span of over USD 1,000 per tonne between the highest and lowest.

Industry sources said that the market will probably become weaker if the nickel prices do no rebound this week, in spite of Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group's price rise for November 2012.
