
As LME nickel price climbs back around to USD 700 to USD 730 per tonne, Taiwanese stainless steel plants said that it's the 1st day after Chinese New Year Holidays, the orders may come after soon as when the hiking nickel prices, the stainless steel demand will go larger if mill YUSCO or Tang raise up the stainless steel price for February 2012.
Up to January 27th 2012, the spot price of nickel was USD 19,671 per tonne, increasing by nearly USD 1,500 per tonne from December 2011. For instance, the cost on products of stainless steel 300 series has surged by around USD 126 to USD 139 per tonne.
Oil and other bulk materials go up by US Dollar depreciation. It also drives up the metal material and makes the nickel price hiking. The stainless steel price estimated to reflect to up than other steels.
