It is reported that the stainless steelmakers in Taiwan including Yieh United Steel Corporation, Tang Eng and Walsin Lihwa are going to release the July 2012 list prices this week.
Industry sources predicted that the Taiwanese stainless steel producers may adjust prices, considering to the high input costs, in spite of decreasing stainless steel prices in China and soft demand.
It is known that Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless maker in China announced to cut its July 2012 list prices for 304 grade stainless steel flat products substantially by CNY 800 to CNY 1,100 per tonne.
Though the Taiwanese stainless steel have been facing pressure to cut prices for July 2012 due to Taigang Stainless' substantial price dip, they may adjust the prices for July 2012 in accordance with the high input costs.
