
According to the data released by China's customs authorities, in November 2011, the largest domestic stainless steel producer, Shanxi Province based Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group's stainless steel exports have declined, marking the second consecutive monthly drop.
In November 2011 alone, the company's stainless steel flat products exports reached 15,444 tonnes, down by 4.68% MoM. In the first eleven months of the current year, stainless steel flat products exports reached 192,966 tonnes, down by 20.86% YoY.
In the first eleven months, the highest monthly export was registered in September 2011 at 23,330 tonnes, while the lowest was 13,067 tonnes registered in March 2011.
