
Timken spends USD 150270 lobbying Congress in Q1
It is reported that bearings and specialty steel maker Timken Co spent USD 150,270 lobbying the federal government on defense, health care, labor and other business issues in the first quarter.
According the document filed on April 19th 2010 with the House Clerk's office, the amount is up from the USD 121,780 the company spent in the fourth quarter and USD 151,320 spent in the first quarter of 2009.
Timken also lobbied both the US Senate and House of Representatives on energy and retirement regulation during the January to March 2010 period.
