According to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkey imported 24,529 tonnes of stainless coils in August 2012, declining by 20% YoY and falling by 24% MoM in comparison of 32,204 tonnes in July 2012.

In August 2012, Taiwan was the largest exporter of stainless coils to Turkey with 5,109 tonnes; German was the second largest one with 2,829 tonnes and South Korea was the third largest one with 2,467 tonnes.

In the first eight months of 2012, Taiwan's imports of stainless coils amounted to 245,926 tonnes, rising by 7.2% YoY.
