According to statistics released by the US Department of Commerce, the US exported 39,349 tonnes of stainless steel in November 2011, decreasing by 14% MoM from 45,732 tonnes in a month earlier.

It is analyzed that the sharp drop in exports of stainless steel cold rolled coil to Italy caused the dip in country stainless steel exports in last November.

The statistics showed that the exports of stainless steel to Italy slumped to 239 tonnes in November 2011 from 3,903 tonnes in a month before.
