According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA), in January to May 2010 Ukraine increased its ferroalloys production by almost 1.6 times compared to the same period last year to 655,000 tonnes.

In January to May 2010 Ukraine
1. Silicomanganese output increased by 150%YoY to 442,100 tonnes
2. Ferromanganese production went up by 309% YoY to 119,400 tonnes
3. Ferrosilicon output increased by 116% YoY to 87,500 tonnes
4. Metallic manganese production went up by 300% YoY to 6,000 tonnes

In January to May 2010 Ukrainian ferroalloy producer output

1. Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant
Ferroalloy output up by 155%YoY to 401,500 tonnes including 311,200 tonnes of silicomanganese and 90,300 tonnes of ferromanganese.

2. Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant
Ferroalloy output up by 178%YoY to 153,700 tonnes
Silicomanganese 94,700 tonnes
Ferrosilicon 23,900 tonnes
Ferromanganèse 29,100 tonnes
Metallic manganese 6,000 tonnes

3. Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant
Ferroalloy output up by 159%YoY to 99,800 tonnes
Ferrosilicon 63,600 tonnes
Silicomanganese of 36,200 tonnes
